Event Summary
The Well is a mixed-use redevelopment project on the west side of Toronto’s downtown featuring more than 3 million square feet of retail, office, and residential space. Enwave partnered with the developers to design and install a novel thermal storage system below the development site, digging a 2 million gallon vertical thermally stratified storage tank below the complex. The presentation will discuss the design and how this system was the catalyst to launch a major chilled water expansion and the development of a new low carbon hot water district.
