Enwave John Street Energy Centre
Join ASHRAE Toronto for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Enwave’s John Street Energy Centre. Get a close-up look at the Deep Lake Water Cooling (DLWC) System, including the newly commissioned fourth intake expansion that increases Enwave’s cooling capacity by an estimated 26,000 Tons. Discover how Enwave and the City of Toronto partner to reduce emissions and achieve decarbonization goals through this innovative district energy solution. We look forward to welcoming you on the tour.

It is mandatory for participants to bring these items in order to attend the tour. ASHRAE Toronto and Enwave will not be able to provide them.
Waiver and Release of Liability
By completing the registration for the tour of the Enwave John Street Energy Centre (the “Event”), you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms:
- Assumption of Risk
You understand that this is an operational plant room with rotating equipment, sharp corners, and trip hazards. You assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with your participation and accept responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur.
- Release of Liability
You release and discharge Enwave, ASHRAE Toronto, City of Toronto, Toronto Water, the event organizers, sponsors, and their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from your participation in this Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from any claims or demands brought by others due to your actions or negligence during this Event.
- Safety Requirements
You agree to comply with all safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and exercising caution in areas with metal grate floors and rotating equipment.
- Governing Law
This Waiver will be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
- Severability
If any part of this Waiver is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Waiver and that you voluntarily agree to its terms. If you do not agree, do not register or attend.
