ASHRAE Toronto is excited to announce

Elevating HVAC Leadership Workshop:

The Power of Emotional Intelligence

By ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer

Join us for an engaging workshop hosted by the ASHRAE Toronto Chapter, where we discuss the essential aspects of leadership. In the dynamic field of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), technical expertise is crucial, but effective leadership requires more than just technical prowess. It demands a keen understanding of human emotions, motivations, and interpersonal dynamics.

In today's technical world, possessing technical skills alone is no longer enough. To truly thrive, we must also cultivate our human skills—those qualities that connect us to our humanity, define our personalities, and enable us to communicate and interact effectively with others.

By developing emotional intelligence, you will transition from being task-focused managers to empathetic and inspiring leaders. This transformation will not only improve the team's performance and project outcomes but also create a positive and thriving work environment, leading your organization toward greater success and growth.

Key topics include:

  • Learn the 5 myths about emotional intelligence
  • How can you prove the ROI of emotional intelligence
  • Learn actionable strategies to improve EQ and watch your team & profit grow
  • What is the most important EQ skill in the HVAC industry (nothing can improve without it)

When: Wednesday, May 29, 2024

Time: 6:00-8:30 PM

Food and refreshments will be provided.
