Event Summary
Interested in learning about hydronics in HVAC systems and buildings? Join us for an introductory lecture on the basics of hydronics. The goal of the workshop is to equip participants with fundamental knowledge about the topic that enable them to have full understanding of various hydronics applications, especially in HVAC systems and buildings.

Brendan McDermott, BASc.

CEO, DMA Heating and Cooling Systems Inc.
Brendan has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Since entering the HVAC industry, he has 10 years of experience designing and selling hydronic systems in the North American Market. He is the CEO of DMA Heating and Cooling Systems, a specialty hydronics distribution firm that he founded in 2016 to address the need for low carbon, low energy building solutions. He is also the President of ASHRAE Toronto Chapter and has been active in the Chapter for 9 years. Additionally with ASHRAE Society, Brendan is a member of Technical Committee 6.5 Radiant Heating and Cooling, as well as TC 9.08 Large Building Air Conditioning Applications.

Niss Feiner, C.Tech, CHD is a Professor of Hydronic Systems Design at George Brown College and President of Delta-T Designs Inc, providing HVAC & Plumbing design and consulting since 2014. He is chairing the History Committee and serving on the BOG in ASHRAE Toronto Chapter.
