Fire/Smoke Damper Design in Commercial Buildings

The Who, What & Why on the application and use of fire/smoke dampers in commercial structures will be explored through a briefing on the code requirements and standards regarding the selection, installation and maintenance of fire/smoke dampers.

A panel discussion will further probe into the responsibilities of the various parties involved in ensuring that the designer, manufacturer, contractor and inspector have the use and application of the fire/smoke dampers selected to meet the code and owner requirements.
