The morning will commence with Registration and Breakfast (Farm fresh scrambled eggs, crisp bacon, country sausages, French toast, home-style potatoes with onions and sweet bell peppers. Freshly baked muffins, croissants and danishes. Sliced fresh fruit platter and beverages)

Following the breakfast will be our first presentation of the morning by Carlos Capetillo on VRF Systems


Carlos earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Nuevo Leon (UANL) in Mexico.  He comes from a family of HVAC entrepreneurs and worked for a Mechanical Contractor specialized in HVAC Design / Build projects as partner and Service and Sales Manager for 15 years and after moving to Canada he worked as Sales Engineer for Carrier and Trane Companies in British Columbia and Ontario and now for Daikin North America as Commercial Sales Manager for Ontario.  He has been member of ASHRAE chapters in Canada since 2011. 

With a short networking break in between, the second presentation will be by Jim Wolf on Next Generation Refrigerants



Jim earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Arizona and a MBA from American University in Washington, DC.  He served in the United States Army as a Signal Corps Officer. 

Active in the American Society for Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), he served as Society President in 2000/2001.  He is presently on the Board of Trustees for the ASHRAE Foundation, first vice chair of the Grassroots Government Advocacy committee, member of the Development committee, and Chairman of the MTG Low GWP refrigerants.

He served as Chairman of the Alliance for Responsible Atmospheric Policy for four years and as Chairman of the U.S. TAG for ISO-205, building environment for three years.  He is currently Chairman of the International Policy Committee, Treasurer, and on the Board of Directors of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy. He is currently actively involved as a business advisor at the Montreal Protocol and Kyoto Protocol meetings.
